Device Shows 'Mobile Broadband Disconnected'

Steps To Reconnect

There are many reasons for devices to become “Disconnected” and show the Mobile Broadband Disconnected error message. The most common reason is because the carrier is performing network maintenance, and has shut a tower down temporarily. During this shutdown, your device became disconnected from LTE and has failed to reconnect automatically. To reconnect: You can powercycle your device. If that fails, performing a factory reset may be necessary. If you have purchased your device from our store, we do not advise performing a factory reset.

*You should also check to see if your device is set to “Auto-Reconnect”, as this will eliminate future extended disconnects.

*You should also verify that you have at least 2 bars of LTE service, and are connecting to the APN of your plan:

Blue:  Broadband

Pink:  fast.t-mobile.com or fast.tmobile.com (depending on device, some devices won't allow the dash)

*If you’re coming to our service from another unlimited data provider, it is possible your device was blacklisted, especially if you consumed large amounts of data on your previous plan. If your device was showing as “Mobile Broadband Disconnected” BEFORE you started service with us, then this is likely the case and the only solution is to purchase a new device, and sim card.
