If you have a GL-Inet Device from another provider, you can seamlessly switch to Travel Data

To switch to Travel Data from another provider, where you purchased a GL.Inet Device, simply purchase our Bring Your Own Device plan, as well as a sim card. You will only need to replace your sim card, and not the entire device.

Your sim card will arrive active, and ready to use - simply remove your existing sim card, and insert the one from Travel Data.

Chat with us if your device does not automatically connect to the internet, or follow our guide to setup your device below. We can also remotely assist you once your device is connected to the internet.

At this time, we can only accept GL-Inet devices into our BYOD plan. No other hotspot devices are compatible.

Your device should have the one of the following stickers located on the bottom in order to be compatible:

EC25-AF FA

EC25-A FA

Please chat with us if your device does not have the stickers on the bottom - we can verify if the device is compatible with other information.

Bring Your Own Device Settings For GL Devices

  1. With your device powered off, insert your new sim card from Travel Data.
  2. Power your device ON, and connect to the WiFi network. You may receive an error on your device stating that there is no internet connection. That's ok! We don't need the internet to configure the device.
  3. You will need to login to the device administration page located at: http://192.168.8.1 and enter the password you created when you first received your device. If you don't know the password, follow the instructions on the login page to reset the password.
  4. Once logged in, navigate to the T-Mobile section of the page (Should be at the top of the page, but may be lower) and press the Auto-Setup button.
  5. The auto-setup process takes about 2 minutes, and once completed, will result in an internet connection.
